Timebank Whakatū members host Clothing Swap at the WAA! Club

On the first Sunday in December, timebank members hosted a clothing swap at the WAA! Club. If you haven’t been to a clothes swap before, it’s pretty self-explanatory - you bring clothes along and swap them with other people, no money exchanged. It’s a great way to freshen up your wardrobe without purchasing something new - most attendees both arrived and left with full bags.

A big thanks to the WAA! Club who donated the leftover clothing from their garage sale the previous weekend to the clothes swap and for hosting the event at their space!

Unswapped clothing has been donated to various opshops around Nelson, so if you see something you like in the picture, you might just run into it around town!
